What Clinical Services contributes to Cardinal Health

Clinical Care Delivery provides high quality, patient-centered care focused on diagnosing, treating and managing care while ensuring the safety, efficiency and effectiveness of the practice.

To improve patient care and patient satisfaction, a new employee can help the doctor see more patients, reducing wait times and increasing patient access and patient care.

We are urgently seeking to hire a highly skilled individual to support a high‑volume, fast‑paced physician. This role requires excellent multitasking abilities, strong organizational skills, and the capacity to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Take vitals and room patients

• Assist during medical procedures

• Request and obtain necessary clinical documents for patients' chart

• Organize examination rooms

• May assist in verifying patient insurance, assist with voicemail and returns calls accordingly

• Communicate with providers, staff and patients.

• Position will be crossed trained in both front and back office

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience, preferred

• Medical Assistant diploma required

• Bilingual Spanish highly preferred

• Must have experience with Medical Terminology - reading and writing skills

• Current CPR/BLS required

• Ability to multi-task a fast-paced work environment

• Acquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete standard tasks

• Works on basic and routine assignments

• Selects correct processes from prescribed rules or guidelines

• Work is closely managed and follows detailed instructions

• Seeks regular guidance and advice from supervisor

Anticipated hourly range: $21.00 per hour - $25.30 per hour
