New England Dermatology & Laser Center has been providing dermatology care to the greater Springfield community for over 70 years. We are growing and looking for Medical Assistants (MAs) with a conscientious work ethic to join our busy specialty practice.

Primary duties include facilitating a positive patient office experience, assisting with various procedures, surgeries and visit documentation, completing lab and pathology requisitions, triaging and returning phone calls, scheduling patients, escorting patients to exam rooms, cleaning/stocking rooms and other related tasks.

Pay:

• Hiring range $22.32-$26.49 per hour based on experience and education.

Schedule:

• Company working hours are M-F 7:30a-4:30p
• Day shift
• No weekends

Work setting:

• In-person
• The regular work location is varied among our offices (Northampton, Springfield, Longmeadow and Westfield) based on the MD/PA/NP schedule and staffing and provider needs.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required. Medical Assisting Certificate from an accredited school and medical assisting experience preferred. ACDT, CMA or RMA required at 90 days.

This position reports to the General Dermatology Office Supervisors. Overtime and scheduling flexibility may be required to accommodate operational needs.
