This role is responsible for overseeing the Medical Affairs budget for the acute business, including managing the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), tracking monthly and quarterly expenses, and ensuring alignment with financial forecasts. The position works closely with Finance, Procurement, and accounting teams, proactively monitors spending and department activities, and follows up with Medical Directors to ensure initiatives and events are executed as planned. Additionally, the role provides operational oversight across team activities, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, while also handling selected expense reporting and administrative financial processes

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Financial management, analysis, and monitoring of the Global Med Affairs annual plan, quarterly forecasts, and monthly actuals.
    • Ensure regular communication and collaboration with Finance.
    • Coordinating the Annual Operational Planning and Long-Range Planning.
    • Coordinating financial strategy to ensure that the goals are met.
  • Proactively plan and oversee medical activities to secure timely execution within the allocated budgets.
  • Administrative support of Medical Directors' projects (consultancy, IME, HEOR etc).
  • Plan and oversee allocated projects to ensure completion in a timely fashion.
  • Monitor project progress and project resources. Report projects progress and issues to the management team and project stakeholders on a recurrent basis.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office; Knowledge of business Expense Report software e.g. Concur Management System.
  • High self-organization & detail-oriented attitude; Professional communication; Fluent & Polished English Skills (C1 level).
  • Collaboration & Adaptability in a team-oriented environment, fostering cooperation among internal and external stakeholders to drive seamless project execution.
  • Confidentiality & Discretion to handle highly sensitive and corporate information with the upmost integrity and compliance.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or 1 - 2 years of related experience.
