Job Description

-Lead global medical affairs team for compound(s) of responsibility and represent GMA at GPT or lead region or country TA medical team and represent TA in global teams. Drive global medical plan & disease are strategy, action plan & execution of medical activities or co-own Medical Affairs plan/co-lead the medical franchise strategy for region or country roles. Provide medical leadership in cross-functional teams to support integrated disease area plans or drive execution of country Medical Affairs activities. Major accountabilities:

  • Manage, coach and develop team members -Ensure efficient execution of evidence generation activities as well as data dissemination by medical team -Plan and allocate resources aligned to medical budget and strategy -Work within Ethics and Compliance Professional Practices Policy (P3) and ensure team does the same -Collaborate across functions and/or divisions to operate as “one team” and provide guidance on governance, as required -Reporting of technical complaints / adverse events / special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt -Distribution of marketing samples (where applicable)
