Job Description

Medical Aesthetic Nurse
Department: Medical Provider Department
Location: Wuse 2, Abuja (proximity to the clinic is required)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience Level: Minimum of 5 years clinical experience, including at least 2 years in medical aesthetics or dermatology practice
Gender Preference: Female (preferred)
Salary Range: 200,000 - 500,000 monthly (commensurate with experience and competence)
Probation Period: 30 - 60 days (for experienced hires)
Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Saturday, 8:30 AM 6:00 PM

  • One day off during the week (excluding Mondays and Saturdays)

The Medical Aesthetic Nurse will be responsible for delivering safe, high-quality, non-surgical cosmetic and dermatological treatments such as injectables, laser therapies, and advanced skincare procedures.

The role requires a combination of clinical precision, aesthetic artistry, and interpersonal excellence, ensuring outstanding patient satisfaction, optimal results, and compliance with best medical practices.

Key Responsibilities

A. Patient Consultation & Care

  • Conduct thorough consultations to assess patient goals, expectations, and medical history.

  • Develop customized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual aesthetic needs.

  • Educate patients on available procedures, outcomes, side effects, and post-care instructions.

  • Provide detailed pre- and post-treatment guidance to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.

  • Conduct follow-up sessions to monitor treatment outcomes and maintain strong client relationships.

B. Procedure Administration

  • Perform non-surgical cosmetic procedures such as Botox, dermal fillers, PRP therapy, chemical peels, and laser treatments.

  • Adhere to strict aseptic and sterilization protocols during all procedures.

  • Maintain precision, safety, and comfort throughout all patient interactions.

C. Leadership & Team Development

  • Supervise aesthetic trainees and team members to maintain professional and performance standards.

  • Lead daily team briefings and monthly performance reviews.

  • Drive the department to achieve at least 75% of team revenue and productivity targets

D. Research, Innovation & Continuous Learning

  • Lead and participate in research on emerging technologies and new treatment techniques.

  • Introduce at least two (2) innovative procedures annually and report quarterly on global trends in aesthetic medicine.

  • Stay abreast of industry advancements through ongoing professional development.

E. Training & Mentorship

  • Serve as Dean of the Flawless Mentorship Program, overseeing training curriculum, evaluations, and development of mentees.

  • Ensure 90% program completion and competency rate among trainees.

F. Revenue Growth & Consultative Selling

  • Achieve 60% individual productivity and contribute to teams 75% revenue goals

  • Maintain a minimum 70% consultation conversion rate and 70% patient retention rate

  • Promote skincare products, loyalty programs, and memberships to boost sales and retention.

G. Operational Excellence & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records.

  • Ensure compliance with Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) standards, as well as facility health, safety, and quality protocols.

  • Oversee proper care and maintenance of equipment to ensure cost efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education & Licensure:

  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification.

  • Valid Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) license.

  • Certification in Aesthetic Nursing, Dermatology Nursing, or Cosmetic Procedures (an added advantage).

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years clinical experience, with at least 2 years in aesthetics or dermatology

  • Proven proficiency in injectables, PRP therapy, laser treatments, and other advanced cosmetic procedures

Technical & Interpersonal Skills:

  • Deep understanding of facial anatomy, physiology, and skincare science

  • Excellent communication, empathy, and consultation skills.

  • Strong aesthetic sense and attention to detail for achieving natural, balanced results.

  • Professional grooming, confidentiality, and service orientation.
