
We are hiring a Senior Assistant Case Management Specialist with experience in probate, estate recovery, Medicaid, legal support, or real estate documentation. This role supports the full case lifecycle, including intake, claims review, asset investigation, property verification, legal document review, and settlement processing. Ideal candidates have strong attention to detail, experience reading court documents, property deeds, assessor records, and the ability to communicate professionally with attorneys, court clerks, and family members.
Location: Phoenix, AZ (In‑Office Hybrid after training)
Compensation: $19–$20/hr DOE
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8 AM- 5 PM

What You'll Do:
Manage a high‑volume caseload involving probate, estate recovery, and Medicaid claims
• Review and interpret legal documents, property deeds, assessor records, probate filings, and court documents
• Conduct asset research, verify real property ownership, and confirm Medicaid eligibility
• Prepare, sign, and notarize liens, claims, correspondence, and legal documents
• Communicate daily with attorneys, Personal Representatives, court staff, and beneficiaries' families
• Negotiate and resolve claim/lien settlements within guidelines
• Process disputes, follow up on case status, and track payments
• Maintain accurate case notes and meet SLA, productivity, and quality metrics
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, confidentiality standards, and government regulations
• Support case progression through workflow using strong analytical and investigative skills
What You'll Bring:
5+ years relevant experience OR 3 years HMS + 2 years related experience
• Background in legal offices, Medicaid programs, state government, insurance (health/casualty), real estate, investigations, collections, or subrogation
• Ability to read and interpret legal documents, probate filings, deeds, assessor records, and court documents
• Strong communication skills for interacting with attorneys, court clerks, and families
• High attention to detail; comfort working in a metrics‑driven, performance‑based environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; Access a plus
• Notary (or willingness to become one - employer paid)
• Bachelor's degree preferred; Paralegal certificate desired
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
