Minimum Qualifications
5 years of experience with Medicaid Claims Processing.
5 years of experience understanding business objectives and identifying alternative solutions.
5 years of experience reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating user requirements, operational procedures, and problems to automate processing and/or improve existing computer systems.
5 years of experience writing detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop and/or modify computer programs.
5 years of experience performing cost/benefit analysis of systems and alternatives.
5 years of experience analyzing and documenting input and output requirements, including forms of data input, data summarization methods, and reporting formats.
5 years of experience with Azure DevOps and generation of wireframes.
5 years demonstrated high-level sound logic and analytical ability.
5 years demonstrated highly developed oral and written communications skills.
5 years demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with others, motivate team members, and elicit work output.
5 years of knowledge and understanding of Information Technology industry trends, directions, and market experience with the ability to relate them to organizational context.
5 years of knowledge of architectural concepts, principles, and tools relevant to infrastructure, information, applications, and organizational structure.
5 years of knowledge of emerging technologies, including those new to company systems and to the information systems industry broadly.
5 years of knowledge of tools, techniques, and practices for protecting the integrity of corporate data, associated processing, and technology standards and procedures.
5 years of knowledge of solution delivery utilizing Agile or Scrum methodology.
Preferred Qualifications
2 years of experience with the Texas DIR Project Delivery Framework and associated document templates.
2 years of familiarity with information architecture and information management methodologies.
2 years of familiarity with existing and planned software technology and global, regional, and local software architecture and infrastructure components.
Additional Requirements

Candidates must reside in Texas and be local to the Austin area (within a 50-mile radius); out-of-state candidates or those planning to relocate will not be considered.
Criminal background check may be required as authorized under Texas law and at HHSC discretion.
Interviews will be conducted via Microsoft Teams.
Overtime and work outside of normal business hours may be required on weekends, evenings, or holidays, subject to pre-approval by HHSC.
Travel expenses are the responsibility of the candidate unless pre-approved in writing by HHSC; approved travel must comply with State of Texas travel rules and rates.
Work Location and Schedule
Location: 701 W 51st Street, Austin, Texas 78751
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding Texas state holidays
Work Arrangement: Hybrid — 2 days onsite (Monday and Tuesday) and 3 days remote; subject to change per the hiring team; up to 100% remote work possible at HHSC discretion
