The Mediation Center Program Assistant assists the Director in coordination of the Mediation Program, which provides mediation services to the citizens of Charles County and various referral partners. The program offers mediation to include parenting plans, divorce plans, facilitation, conflict workshops, community conferencing, and dialogue circles services. Duties related to the various programs include responding to telephone inquiries and e-mails, performing intakes, and scheduling mediations for citizens who wish to utilize mediation services. The Program Assistant coordinates volunteers who perform mediation services. Additionally, the Program Assistant is responsible for triaging community conference referrals to confirm participants’ interest in services and facilitating the handoff to the appropriate facilitators.

The hiring salary for this position will be from the min to mid-point of the salary range advertised. This position is open until filled.

Pre-prep Call Community Conference - 15%
The work is mostly sedentary work which requires exerting up to ten pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly.
