RUN Studios is seeking a seasoned Media Solutions Specialist to support our client, one of the world’s most recognized interactive entertainment brands. In this role, you’ll serve as the first point of contact and go-to expert for end-to-end video asset management, processing, and global distribution—ensuring high-quality content reaches audiences worldwide on time, on spec, and at scale.
You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams, content partner managers, media partners, and high-profile stakeholders to manage the entire lifecycle of media content—from acquisition, encoding, and approvals to hosting, distribution, and archival support. This position requires both strategic oversight and hands-on expertise across a wide spectrum of media solutions, engineering workflows, and event communications.
As a Media Solutions Specialist, You Will
Act as the first point of contact for video asset management requests.
Facilitate immediate video asset distribution on strict timelines across multiple channels for events, retail, websites, executive presentations, and partner needs.
Partner with media content managers & marketing vendors to receive source files and route them through proper encoding profiles.
Ensure video files are properly formatted and encoded using internal production teams as well as their encoding hardware.
Assess and make small editorial and/or design changes, including but not limited to editorial cutdowns, segmenting of content, as well as adding slates and end cards.
Own the QA/QC of content trailers prior to publishing making sure they abide by ESRB/ratings guidelines AND provided social guidelines
Manage and coordinate localization requests – subtitle, end cards, SRTs, etc.
Manage Signiant Media Shuttle portals to send and receive media assets securely.
Collaborate with the across teams to ensure assets are properly hosted on CDN and available to all required clients.
Track assets from media partner delivery through to hosting, providing access links as necessary.
Oversee video usage approvals, including licensing, rights, and ratings compliance for each requested asset.
Provide Asset Management Support, ensuring seamless handling of media from intake to archive.
Manage Post-Embargo Public Distribution and EMEA SharePoint EN-US Release Media Support for timely and compliant global launches
Support workflow design and naming convention standards for efficiency and consistency.
Deliver Media Asset Search & Archive Restore support requests, including montage video retrieval source assets requests.
Execute asset edits, ratings, mnemonic alterations, and repair tasks to maintain compliance and quality.
Perform format conversions across platforms and regions.
Manage open captions, closed captions, transcription, and audio description procurement and delivery.
Oversee comprehensive media processing, including encoding, mastering, and delivery.
Handle Akamai hosting and content distribution network integration.
Apply audio sweetening for broadcast-ready quality.
Design and construct private Media Shuttle portals for all events and content teams.
Coordinate transport membership and onboarding for all client events.
Deploy emergency notifications and planned downtime alerts to all users.
Service and maintain Elemental Media Encoder profiles, paths, and operations.
Coordinate across teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions.
Craft and deliver status reports to content owners and client leadership, including workflow improvement recommendations and issue escalation.
Use Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Customer Voice to assist with event notifications, customer lists, and communications for upcoming events.
QCs new videos and ensure consistency against Video Asset Specs, Best Practices, and Brand Guidelines.
Manage video procurement requests, tracking and archiving efforts with Microsoft Production Studios.
Maintain, update, and track all consumer-facing and expired video content through multiple video trackers, ensuring expired content is removed from public distribution as needed.
Work with a wide variety of business partners with varying time pressures for responses and prioritize and triage asset requests.
Provide reporting of video files received and encoded on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
Onboard new media partners for video acquisition
Optimize end-to-end video workflow.
Perform other related duties as needed.
As an Applicant, You Bring
6+ years of experience in video asset management, digital content operations, or broadcast/media production workflows.
Proficiency with digital asset management (DAM) systems and file transfer tools such as Signiant Media Shuttle, Aspera, or similar platforms.
Deep knowledge of video formats, codecs, transcoding, and encoding workflows.
Experience editing and design work in Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop
Familiarity with CDN hosting and distribution practices for large-scale content delivery.
Strong understanding of licensing, rights management, and ratings compliance.
Working knowledge of quality control (QC) processes, including specifications, best practices, and brand guidelines.
Proven ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive requests across channels with minimal supervision.
Expertise in prioritizing and triaging requests from diverse stakeholders under tight deadlines.
Experience onboarding media partners and optimizing end-to-end video workflows.
Ability to create and maintain accurate asset tracking and reporting for distribution and approvals.
Exceptional attention to detail, organizational strength, and process discipline.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across teams, media partners, and executives.
Demonstrated success working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
Confidence serving as a first point of contact for high-profile stakeholders.
Bonus if You Have
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media Production, Digital Asset Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Experience collaborating with large brands, entertainment companies, or gaming content teams.

Travel
Minimal to moderate travel may be required (<10%), primarily for client events, partner meetings, or studio-based projects.
Travel may include both local and domestic trips; overnight travel may occasionally be required.

Compensation
Pay Range: $90,000 - $110,000 (Salary)
The successful candidate’s starting pay within this range will be based on various factors such as individual qualifications and work location.
