Objective

This role is dedicated to creating and delivering impactful media content that reflects the church’s mission, visionand culture. It plays an integral part in supporting ministry initiatives and engaging audiences in ways that help all people discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Key Responsibilities

Video Content Creation

• Produce, direct and edit engaging media that aligns with the church's mission
• Collaborate on media concepts with the creative team
• Incorporate innovation and techniques on a regular basis

Technical Execution and Excellence

• Operate and maintain production equipment with excellence
• Ensure content excellence through intentionality and innovation
• Creatively problem solve technical issues during all phases of production

Collaboration and Communication

• Deliver media projects on-time, on-budget and aligned with vision
• Contribute to the creative planning process and accept feedback
• Communicate effectively with creative team and ministry areas

Audience Engagement

• Regularly monitor and analyze audience engagement to assess media impact
• Gather and integrate feedback from leadership to improve future projects

Creative Innovation

• Generate fresh ideas for short-form documentary content and life-change stories
• Shape interviews and b-roll into compelling narratives that inspire engagement

Education andExperience

• Minimum of three to five years of hands-on experience in video production, editingand digital content creation in a church, ministryor creative agency environment, preferably with demonstrated leadership or project management responsibility
• Strong technical skills with audio, videoand lighting equipment. Ability to effectively collaborate in team settings and communicate creative concepts
• Proficient in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and related post-production tools
• Experience developing creative concepts for video projects, including shaping story, visual style and basic set or location design across a range of brands, organizationsor clients

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Regular office hours are Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm but availability for evening and weekend work is required during events, production daysor key ministry initiatives. Schedule can be somewhat flexible depending on what is required in the work week.

The church has several big events, (“All-Skates”) throughout the year to help further the mission of Eleven22. These events are mandatory for all staff to be in attendance and may vary, depending on the vision cast for the current year.

Work Environment

The role is primarily based in an office and studio setting and routinely involves the use of professional media equipment, including computers, cameras, audio and lighting gearand editing suites. On-location shoots and setup for live events are required several times a month.

Physical Demands

This role involves extended periods of sitting and standing while operating camera and video equipment. Moderate lifting (up to50 pounds) is occasionally required for transporting gear, setting up stagingor managing technical resources for projects

Ministerial Exception

The ministerial exception furthers the purposes of the Free Exercise and Establishment Clauses of the First Amendment by barring legal claims against church bodies by staff members who perform religious functions. All church pastors are subject to the exception, but a formal ministerial credential is not required. While there is no rigid formula to determine other church staff members that qualify, various factors are considered to determine which staff members are subject to the ministerial exception (please see handbook).
