The Media Planning Manager develops data-informed digital media plans for healthcare and life sciences clients across channels such as programmatic, Google products, YouTube, connected and digital TV, search, and social. This role partners with Media Operations and Analytics to execute, optimize, and report on campaigns that support client objectives. The role also manages budgets, vendor relationships, reporting cycles, and client communications across active media programs.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop digital media plans using audience insights, channel strategy, budget allocation, and measurable client objectives.
  • Analyze campaign performance using GA4, Prisma, DCM, and reporting dashboards to identify insights and optimization opportunities.
  • Optimize digital media campaigns across programmatic, Google products, YouTube, connected/digital TV, search, and social channels.
  • Manage media budgets, pacing, spend approvals, and vendor deliverables in partnership with Media Operations.
  • Present reporting, recommendations, and campaign updates to clients and internal stakeholders on biweekly or monthly cycles.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years of digital media planning experience, including at least 1 year leading projects, workstreams, or team members.
  • Hands-on experience using GA4, DoubleClick Campaign Manager, DoubleVerify, Prisma, or comparable media planning and reporting tools.
  • Experience managing media budgets, pacing, spend approvals, and performance accountability across active digital campaigns.
  • Client-facing experience presenting media plans, performance insights, and strategic recommendations to clients or senior stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for budget tracking, data analysis, reporting, and client-ready storytelling.
  • Experience optimizing campaigns across programmatic, Google products, YouTube, connected/digital TV, search, or social media channels.

Desired:

  • Comfort and enthusiasm for using AI as a regular part of how work gets done.
  • Experience working on healthcare, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or other regulated-industry media campaigns.
  • Experience collaborating with Media Operations, Analytics, Creative, Strategy, and Client Services teams in an agency environment.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and external partner deliverables across multiple campaigns.
  • Experience translating campaign data into clear, actionable recommendations for client decision-making.

Additional Information

The base salary range for this position is between CAD 75,000 - 90,000. The final amount offered will be determined based on several factors such as a candidate's work location, their unique skill set, education, and prior work experience.
