P&G has an immediate start role for an experienced “Media Operations Manager” based in Sydney and connected closely with on-the-ground Brand/ Commercial team as well as a diverse Media network across Asia Pacific (APAC).

The opportunity entails a breadth of experiences to lead Digital Media – landscape understanding, winning strategy development, digital media operation excellence and Test & Learn to lead Digital Media and impact brand outcomes.

We are seeking a highly expertise and motivated individual in Digital space with the ability to envision, strategize, master plan the media journey and find the next Digital S-curve on brands and categories/ operationalize spread across ANZ. The individual must display end to end ownership and executional excellence to be able to deliver the vision on ground. The individual will also help contribute to regional innovation projects for P&G Asia-Pacific (APAC)

Responsibilities include:

  • Define the next Digital S-curve on Media strategy and planning in ANZ in partnership with Brand teams and local media agencies – both strategically (Platform choice, Data Strategy), tactically (Ongoing optimization, Data activation).
  • Map media innovative master plans & Test/ Learn program, define big ideas in line with business priority, track and, upon pilot outcomes, propose expand/ stop across the ANZ organization and beyond, working with data partners, agency, and internal stakeholders
  • Operationalize Digital operations – i.e., Weekly optimization of Buy, Creative, working with all internal Brands and Agency partner, to drive agile decision. In addition, Day to day support across total P&G portfolio i.e. meetings, external supplier meet and greet, brand requests and ongoing projects
  • Media Purchase and Operations across media, in partnership with Purchasing group – Procure to payment management (Purchase Order to Invoicing), tracking, Proof of Performance, ROI analysis, agency and budget management and controls & stewardship

Job Qualifications

  • 3-4+ years’ experience in agency or Digital media strategy role; execution with a strong understanding of Australian digital and media landscape.
  • Digital hands-on operations experience – Google Adwords, Meta Business Manager, DV360, TikTok, etc.
  • Possess an analytical mind, who can think strategically and foster innovation in all areas of their work - Media data analytical background preferred.
  • Strong leadership and influencing skill to deliver strategic media thinking for multiple internal stakeholders including Brand Managers and Regional Media teams.
  • A collaborative team player with a real passion for winning
  • Demonstrate ability to lead change and drive innovation in media space
  • Able to manage multiple internal clients and self navigate, operate in a fast moving environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or NZ Resident
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience in FMCG or Retail industry is preferred
  • Well-rounded life experience i.e. involved in & contributes to the community
