POSITION TITLE: Media Coordinator

DEPARTMENT: Marketing—Advertising

GRADE/FLSA STATUS: H15—Non-Exempt

BADGE TYPE/COLOR: Key—Blue

REPORTS TO: Regional Manager, Advertising

SUPERVISES: N/A

JOB SUMMARY:

Support property initiatives through collateral and assisting with traditional media. Oversee the efficient flow of work from project requests. Traffic and monitor advertising projects and vendors while maintaining and distributing collateral advertising materials.

JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creative and content management for media and internal requests to internal/external design partners as assigned
  • Maintain the trafficking sheet for internal/external design as assigned
  • Coordinate with the advertising department, the project requesting department, the purchasing department, outside vendors, as well as the Brand, the external advertising agency, and the public relations agency
  • Develop and manage Product Promotion strategy, working closely with project owners to ensure guest/Team Member communication
  • Responsible for coordinating purchases within budget for purchase requisitions for the department
  • Conduct special projects, managing all aspects and coordinating with other departments as needed
  • Develop advertising/communication messaging as needed
  • Partner with Advertising/PR Supervisor on traditional media execution as needed
  • Develop creative marketing materials within Brand standards and business objectives
  • Accountable for improving the effectiveness of all marketing materials based on business objectives
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors as needed and budgeted
  • Process and ship images as needed (band photos, logo requests, large art packages, etc.)
  • Ensure the accuracy of the message and quality of the media
  • Order brochures and facilitate distribution to appropriate locations and vendors
  • Proofread all advertisement and marketing communications materials for accuracy of the message, dates, and promotion specifics before final approval by the department manager
  • Execute OOH Plan as assigned
  • Assist in on-property communication as needed
  • Travel as needed for Advertising/PR Events
  • Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies/procedures in an ethical manner
  • Other duties as required to deliver consistent, excellent service to internal and external guests
  • Endorse the business objectives, ethics, and values of Caesars Entertainment in accordance with the Code of Commitment and Mission, Vision, and Values

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A High school diploma or GED is required
  • A BSBA from an accredited institution is preferred, or three years of experience in a Marketing Media related position is required
  • A Valid driver’s license with not more than three or more moving violations or traffic citations in the past three years is required
  • Must demonstrate the following essential skills and knowledge:
  • Basic knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign is preferred
  • Proficient in the use of Windows-based office software, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of trafficking or production processes is preferred
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to effectively present information and/or a convincing argument to executives
  • Negotiation skills
  • Basic digital photography skills
  • Organization and time management skills
  • Proven excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Neat, professional appearance with excellent personal hygiene
  • Attention to detail and deadline-oriented
  • Capable of working independently and taking initiative

  • Must be able to attend to multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
  • Must be able to travel overnight if required

  • Must be able to stoop, bend, reach, kneel, twist, and grip items
  • Must have the manual dexterity and coordination to operate office equipment, including a calculator, computer, fax machine, and photocopier
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality, including secondhand smoke
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
