MEDIA COORDINATOR

REPORTS TO: SR. MEDIA BUYER

STATUS: NON-EXEMPT

The Media Coordinator is responsible for supporting the planning and execution of media placement, which includes but not limited to radio, TV, Direct Mail, print, outdoor and mobile.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and communicate production schedules for various media utilized to ensure timely execution.
  • Create and communicate media placement agency trafficking matrixes for produced media.
  • Process invoices, tracking expenses in comparison to budget.
  • Provide details to Finance team in support of co-op claims.
  • Monitor media buys by spot checking placements.
  • Develop copy points as needed in support of media.
  • Research and negotiate rates, placement for media such as outdoor and print.
  • Communicate Boot Buck and other unique promo details to key departments such as IT and Store Operations.
  • Provide Grand Opening and Event media support details to New Store & Events team.
  • Provide sales results for media and promotional efforts.
  • Monitor and report on competitive media activity.
  • Work with Design team to coordinate production schedules.
  • Support and collaborate with other team members on assignments and projects.
  • Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance and appearance.
  • Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management.
  • Adhere to all local, federal and state laws in addition to Company policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Performs any other duties that may be assigned by management

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Strong communication, customer service, time management and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of experience
  • 2-years media experience mandatory
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and able to implement last minute changes
  • Experience meeting multiple deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and all Microsoft Suite applications
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
