RN Med-Surg – Sanford, FL
Join a high-performing medical-surgical team in Sanford, FL, where nurses are empowered to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care. We are actively hiring Med-Surg Registered Nurses who are passionate about clinical excellence, team collaboration, and continuous learning.
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
Educate patients and families about treatments, medications, and discharge plans
Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to hospital policies
Ensure safe, efficient care delivery for 5–6 patients per nurse
Qualifications:
Active RN license in Florida or Compact state (must obtain Florida license within 60 days if relocating)
Associate degree or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred
BLS (AHA) required within 30 days of start
NIH Stroke Certification within 30 days of start
ACLS required within 6 months
1 year of recent acute care RN experience preferred
Candidates with acute rehab experience may be considered
No psych, SNF, LTC, or jail experience will be considered
