The opportunity
Hitachi Energy Transformer Business Unit in Greater China operates across 55 cities, employs over 1,900 staff, and manages 5 transformer manufacturing plants. More than 90% of its sales come from locally manufactured products. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of Transformers Products, Solutions and Services.Transformers are essential in all electricity-related fields and applications, including power generation, transmission and distribution, oil, chemical and gas, industrial manufacturing, semiconductor and data centers, as well as building and transportation sectors.

How you’ll make an impact
1. You will be working in engineering department of power transformer design.
2. You will be responsible for mechanical design of power transformer order and tender designs, support market and sales strategy to meet the customer needs.
3. You will coordinating his design activities within a worldwide factories network.
4. You will support the local & global organization on S&M, SCM, quality activities, cost savings.
5. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
6. Living Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
Your background
1. You hold a bachelor's or master's degree of Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
2. Basic theory concept on the mechanical design or mechanical engineering.
3. Strong team working ability, good communication skill, office skill and mechanical stress simulation skill would be preferred.
4. Organized and thorough, a team player, open minded, team oriented and autonomous, structured approach for issues solving.
5. Quick learner with ability to master new areas and curiosity in different scientific areas like hydraulic, thermal, mechanical.
6. Additional languages knowledge is considered an advantage.
7. Fluent in English Language in both spoken and written is a must.
