
ASI is expanding its teams to support its current ramp-up across development work, customer projects, and product deployments. This is a full-time W-2 contract position. The selected candidate will interview with ASI and work as an integrated member of the ASI team. W-2 employment, payroll, and benefits will be administered through one of ASI's staffing partners.
As a Mechatronics Technician III at ASI, you are supporting the Logistics team's yard truck program - hooking trailers and moving them dock to dock - including drive-by-wire development. You will be a part of a deployment team, and this role helps design and implement the deployment for customers. Day to day it runs the sequence of getting a truck ready, then moving it into deployment and commissioning: setting up sites, commissioning vehicles alongside RDO, and helping commercialize the yard truck. You manage field assignments independently, drive issue resolution, and serve as a technical resource for junior technicians and cross-functional teams. This is a hybrid role based out of our Mendon, UT headquarters. Planned and short-notice travel within the CONUS up to 60% may be required. Candidates must be able to pass a DOT medical evaluation and an MVR inquiry will be performed.
