We are looking for a business-oriented Mechanics Sourcing Engineer to support supplier development, strategic sourcing, and product industrialization activities in an international manufacturing environment.kit
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and support vendor development activities.
Participate in supplier quality assessments, audits, and performance reviews.
Assist with RFQ and cost negotiation processes to achieve competitive pricing and optimal sourcing conditions.
Perform cost analysis including labor, material, tooling, and manufacturing costs.
Support DFM and product industrialization activities in cooperation with engineering and manufacturing teams.
Identify and develop new suppliers and alternative sourcing solutions.
Identify and analyze sourcing opportunities to achieve cost optimization and maximize value
Cooperate closely with cross-functional and multinational teams.
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or a related field.
Experience in sourcing mechanical commodities such as sheet metal, machining, stamping, or plastics.
Good understanding of manufacturing processes including CNC machining, injection molding, and sheet metal fabrication.
Experience in EMS or industrial sectors such as aerospace, defence, medical, or industrial manufacturing is an advantage.
Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.
Ability to read technical drawings and manufacturing documentation.
Good analytical skills and commercial awareness.
Very good English, both written and spoken.
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work in multinational environments.
