What you’ll do
The role responsibilities include:
·Support the operation and maintenance of critical mechanical and HVAC infrastructure within the Data Center.
·Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities for cooling, plumbing, fire protection, and associated mechanical systems.
·Monitor system performance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and implement corrective actions to improve reliability and efficiency.
·Coordinate and oversee specialist contractors and maintenance service providers.
·Support facility inspections, maintenance planning, reporting, and asset management activities.
·Maintain maintenance records and support work management activities through CAFM/CMMS systems.
·Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with site procedures and operational standards.
·Contribute to initiatives that improve system performance, energy efficiency, and facility availability
What you’ll have
·Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
·Experience supporting Data Center facilities, critical infrastructure, or mechanical maintenance operations.
·Knowledge of HVAC and mechanical systems, including chillers, pumps, cooling systems, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
·Experience with maintenance planning, troubleshooting, and contractor coordination.
·Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and maintenance documentation.
·Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on operational reliability.
·Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
·Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
·Experience supporting Tier III or Tier IV Data Center environments.
·Knowledge of chilled water systems, HVAC performance optimization, and energy efficiency practices.
·Experience with CAFM/CMMS platforms.
·Data Center or critical facilities certifications.
