Job Description

Your next opportunity:

Boral Cement is seeking a Mechanical Trades Fitter to join our dedicated onsite maintenance team. You will support maintenance activities to help achieve the highest standards of fixed plant availability and reliability by carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance activities.

Your day will involve:

  • Maintenance of a wide range of fixed plant equipment including conveyors, mills, crushers, dust collectors, pneumatic & hydraulics systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
  • Identify and respond to problems, breakdowns and changes in routine
  • Use computer systems to work within the maintenance management system
  • Ability to read and understand schematics
  • Flexibility to attend Callouts and change of shift if required to suit business needs

What are we looking for?

  • Experience in heavy Fixed Plant Maintenance ideal
  • Relevant trade certificate in Fitting and Machining
  • Desirable to possess Crushing, Screening and Conveying experience
  • Experience in maintenance management principles and techniques
  • Have a strong understanding and commitment to WH&S, including the ability to identify, assess and control hazards in the workplace
  • HRW Licenses e.g. Welding, Dogging, Forklift, EWP and Confined Space will be advantageous or the ability to obtain
  • Current NSW driver's license
