Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team at Star Services LLC. As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance, repair, and installation of mechanical equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and a passion for problem-solving and working with their hands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the maintenance, repair, and installation of mechanical equipment and systems, including but not limited to HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Conduct regular inspections and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication, filter changes, and belt replacements
- Collaborate with senior technicians to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working on equipment
- Assist in the ordering and inventory of necessary parts and supplies
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical or vocational training in mechanical systems preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
