Sizemore, Inc. is seeking a reliable and mechanically skilled Mechanical Technician to support one of our valued clients located in Claxton, GA This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem‑solving, and maintaining equipment in a shop environment.
Schedule
Monday–Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Lunch: 30 minutes to 1 hour
Some Saturdays as needed
Pay
Starting at $20.00 per hour
Higher pay available for candidates with advanced or extensive experience

The Mechanical Technician will work primarily in the shop and will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical equipment. Candidates should have experience with vehicle engine repair, forklift maintenance, hydraulic cylinders, or similar mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and repair on equipment such as vehicles, forklifts, and hydraulic components
Diagnose mechanical issues and determine appropriate repair solutions
Maintain a clean and safe shop environment
Complete required documentation of work performed
Support additional mechanical tasks as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
Mechanical experience in at least one of the following areas:
Vehicle motor/engine repair
Forklift maintenance
Hydraulic cylinder work
Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems
Reliable, safety‑focused, and able to work independently
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
