About the role
Weare seeking a Mechanical Technicianto join our team at Eneabba.We are looking for applicantswith a demonstrated ability to organise, proactively prioritise,and complete tasks under limited supervision. This fast-paced role will requirea high levelof attention to detail with exceptional teamwork and communication skills.
Reporting directly to the Maintenance Coordinator, the primary function of the role is toassistin the optimisation of plant availability by carrying outon-site scheduled mechanical maintenance and attending to and minimising plant breakdowns
Key accountabilities will include:
Conduct routine preventative maintenance inspections
Carry out troubleshooting and diagnostic analysis
Solve reliability issues usingfault-findingabilities
Continual assessment and improvement of the process,equipmentand procedures
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
High standardsof behaviour that align with Iluka’s values
A mechanical trade certificate
Previousexperience in a similar role within the mining industry inmaintainingfixed plant equipment, Warman pumps, conveyors, screens, sizers, chutes, hoppers, general steel fabrication, pipe work fabrication/weldingand scoping of jobs
Pumprebuild experience highly desirable
Good numerical, literacy and computer skills withproficiencyin SAP or similar
Strong communicationand interpersonal skills
Ability to work as part of a diverse team, while alsodemonstratinginitiative and an ability to work independently
Unrestricted WA C Class Drivers Licence
Desirable Criteria
HR licence
High risktickets - Crane ticket (CN), Dogman (DG), Forklift (LF), Work platform (EWP)
Experience with Confined Space and Working at Height also preferred but not essential
