We are currently looking for a motivated individual to join our team in Montreal East, Quebec, Monday through Friday during evening hours. Reporting to the mobile maintenance director, your main mandate will be to plan mechanical maintenance work and carry out the preventive/predictive maintenance program.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Receive and analyze the relevance and scope of all work requests, i.e. duration of work, labor, subcontractors and materials required, cost estimates, etc;
  • Plan and schedule preventive maintenance and daily maintenance work for your production line to minimize downtime;
  • Plan and organize major shutdowns and ensure proper allocation of human and material resources to minimize downtime;
  • Work with the operations department to establish maintenance priorities;
  • Plan work so that it is carried out safely and in compliance with company OHS procedures and regulations;
  • Ensure effective coordination of maintenance work to meet operational reliability requirements;
  • Create preventive and predictive task instructions on all existing equipment, as well as for new equipment introduced into the plant.
  • Manage and optimize equipment spare parts lists in the "Maximo" CMMS system;
  • Create all spare parts for new equipment in the "Maximo" CMMS system;
  • Carry out occasional reliability projects on our production equipment;
  • Perform all other related maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

To join our team:

  • DEP in heavy vehicle mechanics, DEP in construction equipment mechanics
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing sector;
  • Have relevant experience in managing a mobile equipment maintenance garage
  • Good knowledge of a CMMS system, specifically MAXIMO;
  • Holds PEP cards, or experience managing a PEP program (an asset)
  • Experience in managing a work team (an asset);
  • Good command of spoken and written French and English.

  • Work schedule: monday to friday 1pm to 9pm
  • Full-time, permanent position
