Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Supervisor to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems in our projects. You will also be responsible for managing a team of technicians and ensuring that all work is completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and supervise the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems in accordance with project specifications and safety standards
- Review project plans and blueprints to ensure that all mechanical systems are installed correctly and meet design requirements
- Manage a team of technicians and provide guidance, training, and support as needed
- Monitor project progress and ensure that all work is completed on time and within budget
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions
- Maintain accurate records of project activities, including equipment maintenance and repair logs
- Communicate with project managers and other stakeholders to provide updates on project status and address any concerns or issues
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
- Participate in the development and implementation of new processes and procedures to improve efficiency and quality of work
- Provide technical support and assistance to the project team as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction or oil and gas industry
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment
- Proven experience in managing a team and delivering projects on time and within budget
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and blueprints
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
