The Mechanical Quality Control Inspector is located in either Pickering or Bowmanville and typically reports directly to the QC Manager. The quality control inspector is responsible for performing daily inspections and test activities for receipt, processing, and final inspections and tests as instructed by the QC Manager. The Mechanical QC Inspector is accountable for documenting all inspection and test activities in accordance with the various QA programs of Black and McDonald PGR. The Mechanical QC Inspector is responsible for working with other groups during the implementation of the Quality Program activities. The Mechanical QC Inspector shall ensure the highest degree of employee and plant safety, as well as quality standards, are met.

COMPENSATION
The expected salary range for this role is between $50.00/hr and $68.00/hr. The starting salary will be based on several factors such as the successful candidate’s qualifications, including but not limited to education, experience and overall competencies. Salary is one component of Black & McDonald’s total rewards package. Total rewards vary by position and may include additional offerings such as group insurance benefits, pension plan, annual performance bonus, and career development programs.
