As a mechanical project management role specializing in ADAS/ISS* Sensors and ECUs, you will play a pivotal role in our engineering team. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks which are critical to the success of our projects, both for products that have SOPed and those in the stages of new development.

*ADAS: Advanced Driving Assistant System

*ISS: Interior Sensing System

As MechPM, you need to drive the cross-functional collaboration to achieve project success in quality, cost, and delivery, incl.

  • Cross-Functional LeadershipLead multi-disciplinary mechanical Simultaneous Engineering (SE) teams to develop and execute project plans, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and quality standards across variant and platform projects.​
  • Requirements ManagementAnalyze customer specifications (including technical, commercial, and regulatory requirements) and translate into detailed internal mechanical specifications. Collaborate with SE teams to prioritize technical focus areas and define project scope.​
  • Design & Development Management​Drive mechanical concept development using PE methodologies (FAM, DFMEA, DFMA) to validate design integrity covering performance, reliability, and manufacturability requirements.​
  • Design to Function: Lead design optimization efforts to resolve technical gaps, ensuring alignment with product architecture and platform strategies.​
  • Design to Cost: Leadthe mechanical development team to realize the target cost, including material cost and manufacturing cost.
  • Manufacturing & Supply Chain CollaborationPartner with purchasing and suppliers to negotiate lead times and optimize costs. Manage prototype builds, including supplier coordination, sample validation, and production readiness reviews (PPAP).​ Create BoM and release to the manufacturable status.
  • Testing & Validation CoordinationOversee mechanical verification plan incl. DV&PV, ensuring timely execution of functional, environmental, and reliability tests. Monitor test progress, resolve issues, organize review meetings and approve results for design release, conduct risk assessment if necessary.​
  • Overall Project Execution & Control​Follow APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) and company-defined development processes to manage project milestones, risks, and dependencies.​ Conduct regular project reviews with stakeholders, reporting progress on QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) metrics and escalating issues as needed.​ Support production launch activities, including resolving manufacturing issues and ensuring smooth transition from development to mass production.​
  • Process & Risk ManagementLead mechanical dev. activities to identify and mitigate design/process risks. Drive continuous improvement in project management and engineering processes.

This role requires a combination of technical expertise, creativity, and strong communication skills, as you will be at the forefront of our product development efforts. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge automotive technology, global cross-functional collaboration, and ownership of end-to-end product development cycles in ADAS/ISS sensors and ECUs for Bosch

Qualifications

  • Bachelor in electromechanical engineering, mechanical engineering, material science or similar
  • 5+ years’ mechanical design working experience in automotive or consumer electronics.
  • PMP certified
  • Working experience in international company with diverse cultures.
  • HW dev leadership in project with strong communication, planning and presenting skill.
  • Problem solving skills under adverse conditions and pressure
