Join a leading market M&E contractor, known for its exceptional technical projects and dedication to growth. This family-owned firm, with an inclusive team of 500 staff, is on the lookout for a talented and experienced Mechanical Project Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Participate in project meetings and provide insightful reports.
- Forge strong relationships with clients and contractors as an integral member of the team.
- Collaborate in meetings with designers, specialist contractors, and internal teams.
- Review designs diligently to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Analyse and choose mechanical sub-contractors based on their capabilities.
- Stay updated with market rates and provide commercial inputs to the procurement team.
- Supervise on-site building services installation to ensure contractual compliance.
- Implement health and safety rules strictly during the project's duration.
Requirements
- A relevant Mechanical Engineering qualification or similar.
- Proven track record as a Mechanical Engineer, with experience in government schemes or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in mechanical engineering design software and CAD tools.
- Highly knowledgeable in mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and piping.
- Acquaintance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High-quality communication abilities for effective collaboration and clear technical information sharing.
- Self-driven and team-oriented mindset with a keen focus on achieving project goals.
