Your role:

Part of the tracks ans systems innovation team, as simulation engineeryou will be responsible to deliver key understanding and innovated tools,method, techno and products for future market project.These projects will be focused on track and System of Beyondroad Business line of Michelin and for all segments of Business.

You will be part of a multi-metier Team (product designer and expert, FEA expert) who is in charge to study, define and mature all elements necessary to reinforce our products offer for still being leader on the market in 5 years.

Based in Magog (QC) you will exchange with design team, tests team, material teams locally but also in all Michelin world.

We need you for:

  • Deliver Track models which respect specific requirements (in terms of performances, costs, timing, maturity etc…), within a predefined framework (industrial impact, design rules, …);
  • Define and organize technical studies (simulations, prototype built, DOE, etc…) needed for supporting understanding, performance validation;
  • Actively participate with the team in innovation planning definition and content;
  • Support Technical team in design exchange;
  • Reinforce knowledge on dedicated performance: study, validate and capitalize mechanism of the performance, design levers influence, design options and technology portfolio;
  • Exchange with tire expert for exploring new options: failure mode, materials, tools, tests method…;
  • Capitalize all the knowledge for sharing;

What do you need to possess for being successful:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent;
  • You have between 3 and 8 years of experience in similar roles;
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural and international environment;
  • Experience in finite element numerical simulation (FEA);
  • You demonstrate autonomy in design, optimization, and troubleshooting, along with strong problem-solving skills;
  • Experience using ABAQUS or ANSYS software is considered an asset;
  • You are recognized for your creativity, curiosity, leadership, and initiative.
