Key Qualifications and Mandatory Requirements:

• With a strong work background, more than 3 years of relevant work experience abroad
• With supporting documents proving track record of overseas employment
• Can obtain valid Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) from country of work for more than 5 years
• Very good verbal and written English communication skills
• Valid IELTS certificate (minimum overall band score of 4) or valid PTE certificate (minimum overall band score of 29) is an advantage
• If no valid IELTS/PTE certificate yet, must be willing to undergo and shoulder IELTS/PTE test
• With valid driver's license

Short Description:

Mechanical Pipe Fitters are required for the fabrication and installation of mechanical HVAC pipework systems on large commercial and infrastructure projects. The role will primarily involve heating water, chilled water and condenser water pipework, including plant rooms, risers and connections to mechanical plant and equipment. Candidates must have proven experience working specifically with commercial HVAC/mechanical pipework systems.

Skill Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical / HVAC Pipe Fitter on commercial or large-scale construction projects.
• Strong experience installing chilled water, heating water and condenser water pipework systems.
• Experience installing mechanical pipework within plant rooms, risers and multi-level commercial buildings.
• Ability to install and connect pipework to mechanical equipment including: Chillers, Boilers, Cooling towers, Air Handling Units (AHUs), Pumps and associated mechanical plant
• Experience working with various pipe materials, fittings, valves, flanges and mechanical jointing systems.
• Competent in threading, grooving, cutting, fitting and assembling pipework.
• Welding experience highly advantageous.
• Experience fabricating and installing pipe spools and plant room assemblies.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical/HVAC drawings, specifications, schematics and pipework layouts.
• Ability to measure, set out and install pipework accurately in accordance with drawings and specifications.
• Experience installing pipe supports, brackets and associated pipework systems.
• Understanding of correct pipework routing, levels, falls and equipment connections.
• Experience assisting with pressure testing, flushing and system testing prior to commissioning.
• Ability to work effectively with HVAC contractors, supervisors and other building-services trades.
• Strong understanding of construction-site health and safety requirements.
• Able to work independently and as part of a mechanical installation team.
• High standard of workmanship with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience working on major commercial, healthcare, education, infrastructure, data centre or industrial HVAC projects would be highly regarded.
