Role Purpose:

Build skillset and succession plan/resilience for the Malvern Workshop. The Malvern workshop responds to R&D requirements from all/any projects, typically from scientists and engineers looking to explore ideas. We need to develop an induvial and a range of experience levels in the workshop. We are looking for someone who loves solving problems with their hands.

• Reading of technical drawings
• Understanding design concepts and process
• Learning about configuration control and quality management systems
• Geometric Tolerancing and Inspection
• Workshop maintenance/husbandry
• Health & Safety in the Workshop environment
• Good Communicator at all levels
• Good Time Management Skills

Experience and Qualifications:

• GCSEs in English, maths and science at grade 9-4 or A*-C
