Job Description

MUST have strong mechanical background, preferably in an industrial/manufacturing environment, with experience in hydraulics & pneumatics.  LOCATION: Oxford, MS PAY: $25-$35/hr DOE  BENEFITS: Full benefits package – details below!  RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Performs preventative maintenance on our industrial manufacturing equipment, including presses, conveyors, pumps, and more.
  • Assists with diagnosing and troubleshooting problems. Replaces parts and components and makes other necessary repairs to machinery.
  • Fabricates parts for presses, assembles/disassembles equipment, and performs other tasks such as cutting, burning, welding, and pipefitting.
  • Reads, understands, and applies mechanical and structural blueprints, hydraulic and pneumatic schematic diagrams, and circuitry.  Some electrical knowledge is helpful.
  • Conducts weekly inspections for health and safety to remain compliant with plant and state/federal regulations.
   REQUIREMENTS  
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Two years of mechanical maintenance experience in the area of industrial maintenance, welding, or a closely related field is preferred.  Certifications or education from an accredited trade school may substitute for experience.
  • Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of safe and proper usage of hand/power tools, including welders, cutting torches, and plasma cutters.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematic diagrams, and equipment manuals. 
  • Job requires tasks that involve pushing/pulling and lifting of 50+ pounds, and standing/climbing in an 8hr shift.
