Mechanical Shift Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £45,798.48 per annum
Overtime paid at 1.5 times and double time on a Sunday
Four on, Four off Shifts – 6am-6pm/6pm-6am
This role will work as part of an established maintenance team, driving a safety-first mentality whilst supporting the delivery of the Condition Based Maintenance programme.
You’ll ensure the latest technology is coupled with industry-leading practices to implement efficiency and sustainability in line with company values. Executing planned maintenance activities (inspections, monitoring and routine) and providing the necessary technical feedback to allow improvement to the job plans and task list within the CMMS will form a regular part of your day-to-day duties.

Essential criteria for this role:
• Strong fault diagnosis and rectification on the above detailed systems and equipment
• NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Engineering
• The ability to read to a high level of understanding PIDs and mechanical schematics including pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Good working knowledge on rotating machinery, shaft alignment, machinery mounting, service equipment, conveying systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Competent in the use of machine tools and hand tools that would be expected to be used in maintenance activities.
• Excellent understanding of health, safety, and environmental compliance
• Working knowledge of PTW and LOTO systems
