The opportunity:
As the Mechanical Maintenance Fitter reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will work in a full-time permanent role, on the afternoon shift, 3.30pm to 2am, at our Visy Board, Wiri Site. You will work closely with maintenance and production operations teams to lead initiatives in reducing plant downtime by conducting preventative mechanical maintenance activities, immediate breakdown repairs, and providing general fixed-plant mechanical maintenance as required throughout the plant. What you will bring to the team:
Coming with a minimum of 5 years post-trade experience as a Mechanical Fitter, gained from working in an industrial/high volume manufacturing environment, you’ll have an exceptional ability for fault finding and diagnostics, with the ability to work under urgency and pressure while maintaining high standards. You will be a proactive team player, with a good written and communication skills and processes a strong focus on Health, Safety and Environmental practices. Along with the following:
