We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Reliability Engineer to join our Maintenance & Reliability team. The successful candidate will be responsible for improving the reliability, availability, and performance of plant assets through effective reliability engineering practices, maintenance optimization, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Will Do

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve equipment reliability and maintenance strategies.
  • Monitor equipment performance and reliability using key performance indicators (KPIs) such as MTBF, MTTR, equipment availability, and maintenance costs.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Develop and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Analyze equipment history and identify recurring failures and reliability improvement opportunities.
  • Support condition monitoring activities, including vibration analysis, thermography, lubrication management, and predictive maintenance techniques.
  • Review equipment specifications, maintenance procedures, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Coordinate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and contractors to improve plant reliability and equipment performance.
  • Support maintenance planning, shutdowns, commissioning, and startup activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety standards, engineering procedures, and applicable regulations.
  • Assist in spare parts optimization and critical equipment assessments.
  • Prepare technical reports, reliability analyses, and management presentations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and maintenance costs.


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proven experience in Mechanical Reliability Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, or a similar role within an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance and reliability engineering principles.
  • Proficiency in reliability methodologies including:
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
- Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM)
- Preventive, Predictive, and Condition-Based Maintenance.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and mechanical specifications.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the glass manufacturing industry.
  • Practical experience in the maintenance and reliability of the following systems is highly desirable:
