Position: Mechanical Foreman
Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Contract Details: Full-time
Our client, a leading construction company in Abu Dhabi, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Foreman to join their team. As a Mechanical Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical aspects of various construction projects in Abu Dhabi.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of mechanical technicians and other workers on site
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
- Plan and schedule work assignments to meet project deadlines
- Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with safety regulations and company policies
- Monitor and inspect work progress to ensure quality and compliance with project specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during construction
- Coordinate with other trades and departments to ensure smooth project execution
- Train and mentor junior staff on proper construction techniques and procedures
- Maintain accurate records of work progress, materials used, and labor hours
- Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and clients to provide updates on project status
- Ensure that all tools and equipment are properly maintained and utilized by workers
- Adhere to project budget and report any budget deviations to management
- Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to promote a safe work environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, technical diploma or trade certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical condition and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Salary: AED AED 5,000 + Food, Accommodation & Transportation
Benefits: Medical insurance + Ticket once in 2 years + Overtime
