Enjoy building things, solving practical problems and seeing a finished product come together? This could be a great next move.
We’re looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join Dennis Eagle at our Warwick manufacturing site.
Working as part of our Production team, you’ll assemble and install mechanical components and systems on our specialist vehicles. You’ll work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, interpret engineering drawings and help ensure every build meets our quality and safety standards.
And with a 37-hour working week running Monday to Thursday, you’ll get a three-day weekend as standard.
We’d like to hear from people with:
A relevant fitting qualification or training in mechanical fitting, hydraulics or pneumatic systems would be useful, but these are desirable rather than essential. Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems or experience working from wiring diagrams would also be beneficial.
You don't need to tick every desirable box. If you have relevant hands-on mechanical or assembly experience and think your skills could transfer, we'd encourage you to apply.
The role involves working in confined spaces, climbing over vehicles and entering or exiting vehicle bodies and hoppers, with occasional heavier lifting.
Based at our Warwick, Warwickshire manufacturing site, this opportunity could suit Mechanical Fitters, Assembly Fitters, Mechanical Assemblers and Assembly Operatives looking for their next role within engineering or manufacturing.
🔩 Whether your experience comes from vehicle manufacturing, mechanical assembly, hydraulic fitting, production engineering or a similar hands-on environment, we'd be interested in hearing about the skills you could bring.
We welcome applicants from all backgrounds. Even if you don't meet every requirement, we encourage you to apply. We value potential and are committed to supporting your development.
We recognise the importance of flexibility and offer a range of flexible and hybrid working arrangements where the nature of the role and business needs allow. If you'd like to understand what options may be available for this position, please contact our Recruitment team.
