By joining our, Taupo based, Mechanical Fitting team, you’ll enjoy getting out to a variety of client sites, in some seldom seen locations, working with a close-knit team and taking pride in a job well done.
You'll be confident in making independent decisions, as well as together with the team, and a proven "outside the box" approach based on best practice standards to deliver the best outcomes for our clients.
As an experienced tradesperson, you’ll be comfortable working under pressure, and be able to turn your hand to all mechanical engineering trades as our crews do it all!
The Role:
Joining a team performing routine maintenance, diagnostics, refurbishment, and general engineering in geothermal and hydro power generation, you’ll be completing critical measurements and carrying out precision alignments, working with large turbines, heavy rotating equipment, cranage, valves, pumps, fans, heat exchangers etc. Your days could also include on-site general fabrication, rigging, slinging, dogging and using overhead gantries.
