Working for Waukesha Bearings Ltd. as a Mechanical Fitter you will be responsible for preparing, final dressing and assembly of fluid-film bearings, to a given specification and in adherence to strict quality standards.
You will work at our highly successful site in Polmadie, Glasgow where we design and manufacture a range of hydrodynamic fluid-film bearings, active magnetic bearing systems and seals for applications in high-performing turbomachinery and industrial rotating equipment, principally for the oil & gas, power generation, marine and industrial markets. We are part of Dover Precision Components, who are in turn a Dover Corporation company.
*Annual Salary £44,919.62 for weekly rotating shift pattern of early (6am) and backshifts (2pm), including 18% shift premium gives total earnings of £44,919.62, plus productivity bonuses, pension & life insurance.
