Mechanical / Engineering Projects Planner - Durban – R60 000 CTC Negotiable

We are urgently recruiting for an experienced Planner to join a busy engineering environment in Durban. This role requires someone who can hit the ground running, taking over large, live projects and driving them through to successful completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and manage engineering projects from handover to finalisation
• Interpret project requirements and develop detailed project schedules
• Track progress, milestones, and variances against the plan
• Produce forecasts, reports, and updated schedules
• Work closely with project teams to ensure delivery deadlines are met

Requirements:

• Proven planning experience within a mechanical engineering environment (essential)
• Strong project scheduling skills (MS Projects / Primavera advantageous)
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Willingness to work overtime and outside core hours when required
