Job Description
Our client is a Publicly Listed Company that distributes and process industrial materials, they are inviting a bright and energetic candidate for the following vacancy:
Responsibilities:
- Set up and lead a mechanical engineering team, to plan, coordinate, implement and review all maintenance work.
- Inspect and audit on maintenance works to ensure progress, monitor spare part consumption and replenishment.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure productions will operate with minimal interruption and unplanned stoppages.
- Optimize layout and manufacturing process to improve productivity.
- Work close with foreign engineers and the production team about manufacturing process, quality inspection and instrument, tools and fixtures as well as others needed.
- Ensure a safe workplace by monitoring 5S housekeeping team on safety improvement projects, stop auditing, reporting of miss or hazard problem.
Requirements:
- Degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance in heavy industries, exposure in steel production related field is an advantage.
- Good knowledge and experience in machining manufacturing process and product cost calculation.
- Knowledge in welding, gas cutting, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, gas welding safety, safety structure and systems.
- Able to coordinate, implement and review complex hands-on engineering operations.
- Experience in managing a team or people management.
- Positive thinking and self-motivated.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good command of English and Chinese languages.
