Are you a Bachelor of Engineering student looking to gain hands-on experience during your studies?
At Demant, you’ll join the Specialist Shared Services team within Device Hardware at our headquarters in Smørum.
During your internship, you’ll have the opportunity to apply your technical skills to practical engineering tasks while gaining insight into how engineering work connects with both technology and business.
You’ll work both independently and as part of a team, take ownership of your own learning, and contribute to ongoing projects. Throughout the internship, you’ll plan and carry out tasks, document your work, and get familiar with how we work at Demant.
Learning objectives have been set for the internship. The learning objectives are divided into general learning objectives that apply to all students regardless of the B.Eng. major, and field-specific learning objectives that apply to students in the B.Eng. major in the internship report.
The students must meet a significant part of the learning objectives for the internship in the internship report. However, it is mandatory for all students to meet learning objectives, as all B.Eng. students must develop business understanding during their education. It is also mandatory for all students to justify why they may not touch on certain learning objectives in the internship report.
The student must do a Bachelor of Engineering internship in a Danish or foreign company that reflects the student's field of study. The internship has a scope of 30 ECTS points (one semester) corresponding to a course in a company of 20 weeks (100 working days). The 20 weeks are exclusive of holidays and public holidays.
The student adapts to the working conditions at the workplace, including working hours. If the company has days off in addition to the above holidays/days, the internship period is extended accordingly. In the event of other absences, including illnesses exceeding 4 working days, the internship period is extended accordingly. To ensure a coherent internship, it is recommended that the student does not attend classes concurrently with the internship. Should this exceptionally occur, the internship period will be extended accordingly, so that the total internship period in the company is still 100 working days.
We recommend focusing fully on your internship during this period to get the most out of the experience.
If this opportunity sounds interesting, please submit your application and CV as soon as possible, and no later than June 19th 2026. Please note that applications are only accepted through our online recruitment system.
