Job Description

We are seeking talented and motivated UAE National Mechanical Engineers to join our Engineering and Projects team. This opportunity is open to fresh graduates and experienced professionals with up to 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry. The role would be based in Sharjah, UAE.

This recruitment activity supports the organization's Emiratization objectives and commitment to hiring UAE Nationals.

Key Responsibilities For Graduate and Junior Engineers (0-2 Years)

  • Assist in the design and engineering of mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Support the preparation of technical specifications, datasheets, and engineering calculations.
  • Participate in equipment sizing and selection activities.
  • Assist in reviewing engineering drawings, vendor documents, and technical reports.
  • Support maintenance and reliability initiatives for rotating and static equipment.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including Process, Piping, Civil, Structural, Electrical, and Instrumentation disciplines.
  • Participate in site surveys, inspections, and project meetings.
  • Assist during procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and quality standards.
  • Support continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.

For Engineers (4-10 Years)

  • Perform mechanical engineering design and analysis for Oil & Gas and Energy projects.
  • Prepare and review engineering deliverables including:
  • Equipment Datasheets
  • Technical Specifications
  • Material Requisitions
  • Bid Evaluations
  • Mechanical Calculations
  • Design Reports
  • Support the design, selection, and operation of:
  • Pumps
  • Compressors
  • Turbines
  • Pressure Vessels
  • Heat Exchangers
  • Storage Tanks
  • Packages and Utility Equipment
  • Review vendor documentation and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Participate in HAZOP, design reviews, constructability reviews, and risk assessments.
  • Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and equipment reliability improvement programs.
  • Provide technical support during construction, commissioning, start-up, and operational phases.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Fresh Graduates (0-2 Years)

  • Bachelor's Degree in:
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Mechatronics Engineering
  • Industrial Engineering
  • Or a related discipline
  • Strong academic background.
  • Internship or project experience within Oil & Gas, Energy, Manufacturing, Utilities, or EPC environments is an advantage.

Experienced Candidates (3-10 Years)

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
  • 3-10 years of experience within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, LNG, Refinery, Offshore, Power, Industrial, or EPC projects.
  • Experience in FEED, Detailed Design, Brownfield, Greenfield, EPC environments are preferred.
