Opportunity Overview
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the development of Platform products for next-generation Semiconductor Testers. This role is ideal for someone with foundational experience in mechanical design and analysis who is ready to deepen their expertise and contribute to cross-functional engineering efforts.
In This Role You Will:
Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to develop mechanical components and subsystems.
Translate high-level requirements into design concepts with supporting engineering analysis.
Perform basic structural and thermal analyses using hand calculations and FEA tools.Create and revise 3D models and 2D drawings using SOLIDWORKS and applying GD&T.Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback to improve designs.Support prototype builds and functional testing under supervision.
Work with suppliers to understand manufacturing constraints and refine designs.

New college grads with Mechanical Engineering.
SOLIDWORKS experience is required, SOLIDWORKS PDM is preferredA curious mindset and proactive attitude; excited to take on new challenges and grow.
A solid foundation in mechanical design principles and GD&T, with a desire to continuously improve and expand skills.
Clear communication and documentation skills, with a focus on teamwork and time management.
A collaborative spirit and interest in working with others to solve problems and build great products.
Motivation to learn from experienced engineers and contribute your own ideas to the team.
We are only considering candidates local to San Jose, CA and are unable to provide relocation for this position.

Compensation:
The base salary range for this role is $71,500 - $114,400. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
