Job Description

Burrow Global is hiring. We are currently looking for a mid career Mechanical Engineer that has worked in the EPC industry on projects in the petrochemical or oil and gas sector.

Daily Duties:

As a Mechanical Engineer at Burrow Global, you will undertake assignments aimed at refining your engineering expertise and skills, applying standard techniques, and executing related tasks. You'll work on specific portions of broader projects under the guidance of experienced engineers, employing standard practices and techniques. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, adeptness in data correlation, and the ability to navigate through detailed processes.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Independently apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, making minor adaptations and modifications as necessary.
  • Demonstrate expertise in one or more of the following areas: Piping, static equipment, rotating equipment and tank design.
  • Experience preparing equipment data sheets, RFQs, bid tabulations, and purchasing packages.
  • Engage in specification preparation, process studies, research investigations, and report drafting within defined scopes.
  • Adapt seamlessly to changes in work tasks or environments, ensuring continued effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Potentially oversee or coordinate the work of supporting technicians and personnel.
  • Communicate information clearly and effectively to individuals or groups, fostering understanding and engagement.
  • Develop and implement action plans for self and others to optimize workflow efficiency.
  • Maintain awareness of factors affecting employee safety and contribute to a cohesive team environment.
  • Experience with API 650, API 620, ASME Section VIII

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience working in an EPC environment
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team setting.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities contributing to project success.
