The Role

As a Mechanical Engineer Level II with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.

Responsibilities:

  • To use established respective code and engineering practices to produce engineering deliverables in the form of mechanical data sheets or engineering drawings good for fabrication for process equipment like loss in weight feeders, conveyors, bagging machines, Tray / packed columns, Shell and Tube heat exchangers, Pressure vessels, API storage tanks,, Silos, Large bins, FRP/PTFE lined equipment, Plate heat exchangers, Air cooled heat exchangers, rotary airlock valves , pumps etc.
  • Job responsibility includes preparing enquiry documents for above equipment, technical evaluation of vendor offers, technical discussions with the vendors, preparation of technical recommendations and order specifications, Review of vendor drawings and resolve technical issues as part of detailed engineering.

About You
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:

  • Years of Experience – Minimum 10 years of experience.
  • Graduate or Masters in Mechanical / Chemical engineering.

Training and Experience:

  • First class graduate/post graduate mechanical / chemical engineers with experience 10 years working in the static & packaged equipment design group of a leading engineering consultancy or in the design office of a reputed process equipment fabricator and should have in-depth knowledge and experience of working with latest international codes like ASME Sec VIII Div-1 and Div-2, PD-5500, EN13445, IS 2825, API 650, API 620, API 610 ,TEMA, IBR and SMPV rules.
  • Candidate should be well conversant with the use of available software tools for pressure vessels like PV Elite, Compress. Candidates with experience in Oil & Gas sector, Refinery and Fertilizers will have an edge.

Other Essential Functions

  • The candidate may be required to work after understanding work procedures and standard practices.
  • Knowledge of national / international electrical codes and standards.
  • He/She may be required to interact and positively contribute with other disciplines in trouble shooting exercise of solving equipment related issues.
