Level I:

Estimated annual base pay: $65,000(minimum) - $84,500(midpoint) - $104,000(maximum)

Level II:

Estimated annual base pay $77,000 (Minimum) - $100,000 (Midpoint) - $123,000 (Maximum)

Level I:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Works assigned tasks to meetscheduleand maycoordinate details with other departments.

  • Recognizes problems which are beyond capabilities and islearningfrom the experts in the area.

  • Learnsthe steps involvedto incorporateprocess improvements.

  • Performs routine functions which require application of standard techniques,proceduresand criteria in carrying out a sequence of related engineering tasks.

  • May perform smallcomponenttests to support more senior engineers.

Key Skills:

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills; learning technical writing skills (procedures, reports, etc.).

  • Basic skills in problem solving and troubleshooting.

  • Basic understanding of organizational structure and flow of information in the company. Recognizes problems which are beyond capabilities andseeksoutappropriate expertsand tools.

  • Basic ability to understand and interpret industry and Woodward technical standards including quality system standards and PLC process

  • Fundamental knowledge of commercial and in-house analytical packages. Ability to run existing standard tools. (e.g.Excel, equation solver software, etc.)

  • Basic understanding ofcomponentfunction and testing. Learning manufacturing processes, drawings and geometric dimensioning and tolerances as well as shop standards and procedures.

  • Effective time management skills.

  • 4 Year Bachelors BS degree

Level II:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Works assigned tasks to meetscheduleand maycoordinate details with other departments.

  • Recognizes problems which are beyond capabilities and islearningfrom the experts in the area.

  • May implement process improvements on a project level.

  • Performs work which involves the use of conventional engineering practices.

  • Writes and performscomponenttests with some supervision.

Key Skills:

  • Effective written and verbal communication skillsincludingpresentations (internal only); Basic technical writing skills (procedures, reports, etc.).

  • Competent skills in problem solving andtrouble-shooting

  • Ability to effectivelyoperatein the project team environment and communicate with customers. May direct or leadworkof technicians,detailersand designers.

  • Basic ability to understand and interpret industry and Woodward technical standards including quality system standards and PLC process

  • Basic use and understanding of FEA tools, basic use of DFSS tools and methodologies; Basic knowledge of Engineering quality systems (PLC, engineering change, configuration management).Assistswith the development of department and organization procedures.

  • Basic understanding ofcomponentfunction and testing. Learning manufacturing processes, drawings and geometric dimensioning and tolerances as well as shop standards and procedures

  • Effective time management skills.

Other Qualifications:

  • 4 Year Bachelors BS degree+ 1 Year of experience or MS
