๐Ÿš€ This is a hybrid role based in Bridgwater, requiring 3 - 4 days per week on site, with support available for those looking to relocate closer to the project.

As a Mechanical HVAC Engineer, you will support the delivery of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across a major construction programme.

๐ŸŒฌ๏ธ Support installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems on site

๐Ÿ”ง Provide technical support to construction teams to resolve installation issues

๐Ÿ“„ Review engineering drawings and specifications for site suitability

๐Ÿ” Identify and report installation or documentation issues promptly

๐Ÿค Liaise with design and engineering teams to resolve technical queries

๐Ÿ“Š Support tracking of site issues and contribute to performance reporting

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Assist in reviewing and implementing engineering changes on site

๐Ÿ“ˆ Help identify recurring issues and suggest practical improvements

โš™๏ธ Ensure work aligns with safety, quality, and project requirements

Qualifications

Nuclear experience is not essential, but is of course welcome. If you have worked within a highly regulated environment, your skills and approach are highly transferable and of strong interest to us.

We also recognise that the perfect candidate rarely exists. If you feel you meet around 80% of the criteria and are motivated to develop further, we would strongly encourage you to apply

๐ŸŽ“ Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline

๐Ÿ—๏ธ Experience working with HVAC systems within construction projects

๐Ÿ“š Understanding of mechanical building services or industrial systems

๐Ÿง  Strong problem-solving skills with a practical engineering mindset

๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Ability to communicate clearly with site and engineering teams

๐Ÿ” Good attention to detail when reviewing drawings and documentation

๐Ÿค Collaborative approach with willingness to learn and develop
