Job Description

Duties

  1. Maintain & Update Drawings
  2. Projects
  • Develop Scope, Plan, Quote, & Implement Capital & Maintenance Projects
  • Meet Project Schedules & Budgets
  • Identify Process Improvement Opportunities
  1. On-Call Responsibility for Mechanical Department
  2. Technical Resource
  • Develop Maintenance Procedure & Quality Specifications
  • Assist with Maintenance Troubleshooting
  • Maintain Technical Documents
  • Assist with Technical Growth & Training of Mill Personnel
  1. Safety
  • Ensure Safety Procedure are Followed by ALL
  • Engineer Safety Systems & Guarding
  1. Reliability
  • Evaluate & Modify PM Schedules to Optimize Uptime
  • Assist with Root Cause Failure Analysis & Develop Corrective Solution

Requirements

  1. BS in Engineering, preferably Mechanical
  2. Industrial Experience, preferably in Pulp & Paper
  3. Knowledge of Mechanical Systems including Pumps, Gearboxes, Lubrication, Vibration, Piping, Welding, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Thermal Systems, Etc.
  4. Computer Skills including AutoCAD, Microsoft Office
