The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the design, assessment, and delivery of building mechanical systems in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Working within multidisciplinary engineering teams, the role supports projects involving heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, and associated building systems across design and operational phases.
This position involves conducting technical analysis, producing engineering documentation, and supporting inspection and condition assessment activities. The role requires coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with applicable Canadian codes and standards while maintaining project scope, schedule, and deliverable quality.
The ideal candidate brings a minimum of seven years of experience in building mechanical systems engineering, with strong exposure to design, assessment, and field investigation. Professional engineering licensure and demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects are essential.
